“One of my favorite memories from earlier days at Weatherford College was setting appointments with veterans at the Dairy Queen in Granbury. I would set up their VA benefits and register them for classes while buying them a coke or cup of coffee.

In the 1970s, we had a good time taking the Veterans Organization to the Pythian Home where we did activities with the children and the VA Hospital in Dallas where we took the Small Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble to entertain patients.”
